Weekend....

I had one of the best weekends on record in a long time. Thanks so much to a very involved husband, I had alot of Deena time, it was so great.

On friday we had our baby boot camp class in the morning which is a great workout, I sweat like crazy and ottavia loves it, she has a major starring problem with other babies, its hilarious, then we went to the chiro and we are making amazing progress, tummy time is fun now.

When Tino got home from work i had a long relaxing shower and got myself ready, we put the baby to bed and my friends picked me up. We went to this whole in the wall pub to watch my friends band play, we also met another friend there and my sister and her boyfriend, I had a few drinks and i really felt good about being out. I did not my best not to talk about my baby but of course i couldn't help myself and had to show a picture! I got home about midnight and Tino waited up for me, he was able to have Tino time which is always good too.

Saturday morning we were all up bright and early, i left the house by 830, got a Giant FREE might I add coffee from Tim's, with my roll up the rim winning and went to my hair appt which I totally enjoyed. Its crazy how much I appreciate it now, it defnitly doesn't happen as often as it used to, so now its a novelty, after that I met a couple girls for pedicure's, we found this awsome place thats CLEAN. SInce i'm just on the end of getting rid of a nail fungus i got from a spa on my finger, i'm very weary of spa's but this one they keep your own tools in a box wiht your name on them. This was the first time i ever had the wax on my feet it was so nice.

After this I picked up lunch for Tino and I and headed home, everythign was under control. I had to laugh, the coffee was still on, the house was a disaster, tino was starving still in his pj's....but the Baby was happy and content thats all that matters. I think he got an eye opening experience and appreciates my super mom duties I do everyday.

After lunch me and Ottavia had a 2 hour nap it was great. We spent the evening as a family.

Today Me and O went to my friends Erins for dinner, our friend was in town from ontario so we got to catch up, there are so many new babies since crystal left so she got her fill tonight!

Rock Chip...

Yesterday I had to take the deerfoot south to pick up my kijiji purchase..I do NOT miss that freeway for one minute. I think this is the worst time of year for rockchips because all the gravel from winter is getting stirred up.

Well low and behold, i got one yesterday. I was so mad, not becauase I got the rockchip, but because I've got a diamond coated windshield on my SUV that says your windshield cannot get rockchips....WRONG

Not even a year ago i had my windsheild replaced for free because i got a rockchip and it spread like wildfire accross my whole view. So here we are again with another one, but i'm going to get it fixed before it spreads because car appointments are worse then dentist appts.

Word of Advice??? A diamond coated windsheild does not prevent rockchips my friends, so don't waste your moola!

Chocolate.....

Today is ash Wednesday which represents the beginning of Lent....Today I gave up chocolate for the next 46 days. I can do this, its not going to be easy let me tell you but it will bring me closer to my goal, as it will prove self disipline. I LOVE chocolate. I got this from my mom, she is also a chocolate lover. I'm going to find this extra hard in evening when I've saved several weight watchers points for a skinny cow icecream sandwhich which includes chocolate, now I will have to resort to a plain old popsicle for my treat..but thats okay.

I remember this day in elementry school, I was raised catholic so there was always an ash wednesday celebration in school and we would get a cross with ash on our foreheads. It seems to early for lent because its still so cold out and usually the snow is gone by the time this season starts although Easter seems late this year.

What are you giving up for lent this year?

P.S.. I promise on Easter morning I will take a BIG BITE off the Biggest chocolate Easter bunnies ear!!
