Winter...

I Love it, iw as excited to go to sleep last night because we were going to wake up to winter, but i was also nervous that I would go into labor and have to fight first snow fall, calgary morning traffic.....BUT OF COURSE NOT..WHY WOULD THIS BABY COME ON SUCH A COLD DAY...........

anyways....not that I've had enough or anything, i completed all my errands yesterday knowing today would be a right off. I love that all the christmas stuff is out, the music is playing, it feels my spirit. I LOVE christmas. This time of year is my favourite, there is nothing like settling in, cooking nice meals, baking, decorating, candles, hot drinks, good TV....its great. What else can you do but embrace it.

I was a little jelous this morning, Tino was shoveling, I LOVE to shovel but won't do it at this stage in the game. Speaking of this stage in the game..we do appreciate the NO PHONE CALLS....there is no baby and I promise friends and family we will let you know. We are just as anxious and excited as you all our. Our families have been wonderfull at leaving us alone and giving us our space and not bugging us.

Today i'm going to make a big lasagna with some of my sauce i froze from last week, although i need to pick up a couple things because it wasn't in the plan. Part of me wants to take my christmas stuff out and put the tree up, my little light houses and smelly pine cones, but another part of me wants to wait till my mom comes to help me. I said i wouldn't put up a tree this year but I just love the finished product its hard not to give in.

Here is the snow!! We seriously got ALOT!!
