So here I am, up and at em...i've got laundry going, my grocery list made, the dishes are done, i cleaned the bathroom, finishing my 1st cup of coffee.....and my baby is still sleeping, I CANNOT believe it, she went to bed last night at 7pm and its almost 9 am....holy good snooze...holy wet diaper ahead, i can hear her stirring but I want her to wake on her own...happy momma over here.
So i'Ve been on a bit of a health kick latley, i'm trying to get my body back...back i'm talking..how it was a few years back and so far so good. I really enjoy cooking and eating so I thought finding recipes that were lower in fat and sodium would be difficult but its not. I came accross this blog called skinnytaste.com.....Her name is Gina, she is fabulous and she give's all the nutrition information, even the weight watchers points that go along with the portion size. I've really found this blog helpfull. Tino has also cut down his portions and snacking too, its easy to snack in the evening and there is no need for it, we have dinner around 6 so by the time thats done its later and eating that late is just simply bad. I've been buying these bags of organic apples from superstore, they are soo good, especially in the afternoon around 4pm when your getting hungry for dinner but don't want to snack, the apple always helps along with a cup of tea..Red roobibus vanilla to be exact.
So anyways i found a recipe on there for baked potatoe soup, it looks fabulous and with all this snow today I think we will venture out for groceries and warm our souls with the soup.
Yesterday we had salsa baby class and it was quite the workout, i was sweating buckets. I tried my new baby carrier the Ergo for the first time and it was awsome, the back support was great, she loved it, but it was quite hot, i mean i was working out with her on me but i can see it being quite toasty in the summer. I have to say its way better then the baby hawk i had....the Ergo is my choice all the way!
Have a great day everyone!
