I reached the 10 week mark on Friday! Me and the girls at work highjacked an ultrasound machine and had a sneak peak at my little bambino (praying for a bambina (Girl) ). Its the size of a Walnut now and it was kicking and punching, swallowing, and wiggling. I could see the 4 chamber of the heart that was beating like crazy. We were screaching, and yelling and laughing and I had tear in my eye's because it's still hard to believe I'm growing that in my tum tum!
Although it's hard to believe, its also hard not to forget. My jeans are getting tight around the midline, even wearing them down low is un comfy, and my scrub pants want to roll down below my tummy. I did buy some maternity jeans but they make me look preggo a little more then I'd like to look so I"m trying to just wear my regular clothes.
This week has been a rough one with feeling sick. Its morning, noon and night. Terrible terrible terrible. Yesterday it was beautiful outside, after I met my friends new baby I came home, crawled into bed and slept for 2 hours. Again, just listening to my body. Speaking of new baby, Paige Dawn Slavich is So adorable, and petite. When I held her she was so easy to snuggle and her skin was so soft. I can't wait to hold my baby close and snuggle it right in tight!
Hopefully less then 2 weeks to go and i will be over this first trimester flu. I compare it to feeling extremely hungover with no relief.
Remember all that bath and body works stuff I blogged about a couple months ago? Thats all out the window now too. I can't stand the smell of it! Call me crazy, but this baby is turning me into a non coffee drinker, vegetarian, sleeping, barfing...cat like action kind of girl!
