11 Weeks

Today Marks 11 weeks Pregnant. I had my pre-natal physical yesterday, and we went through everything. She answered all my questions and concerns and i feel very comfortable with her, and I feel very confident she know's what she is talking about. She is so supportive about all decisions and very open to supporting anything I believe in. She is great, I'm so happy I found her, and I was able to refer her to my close girls!

Although I'm just shy of 3 months, we already started talking about delivery, which OBGYN I'd like to see, what hospital etc. When I really think about it, its only 6 months away. WOW, but in the grand sceme of things, I still need to take things day by day with all day sickness and body changes.

Speaking of being sick, I got the stomach flu on sunday night. HOLY CRAP that was bad. Sunday was the first day I felt good in evening, although I barfed twice in the bay that afternoon hahaha. Tino and I had a nice dinner, went for a walk and had angel food and strawberries for dessert, life was great until 5am. I thought it was morning sickness etc. I had to work at 4pm so i figured I had time to get over it. It never ended, for 2 days. I was in bed for 2 whole days with all the marvelous things that come with the stomach flu. I cried a couple times because I felt so helpless. By tuesday night, I had a trusty Grilled cheese and I was on the mend!!! YAHOOO...who doesn't love grilled cheese, its my staple right now, along with PB and toast! Our life has gone from grilled salmon fancy wine and soft cheese and tomatoes to my staples. Tino is such a trooper!


I just have to say, when i was getting married, my mind was on wedding, photographers, dress, wine, stags, registry, invitations, etc. It was all about the wedding. Now that I'm pregnant, its all about the that. I read it, sleep it, talk about it and ask ALOT OF QUESTIONS!! Thank gosh I have alot of Calgary girlfriends that have had babies. These girls are so honest with me, but in a kind way. Which dr I should choose, where I should deliver, what breast pump should I buy, do put vaseline on the babies bum? What diapers do you love, which sleep book did you follow, How bad did it hurt hahahaha. These girls are pro's already and now that i've asked these questions, it helps me to make a decison based right from the horses mouth as opposed to my book or pregnancy magazine!
