You know those morning's when roll over and look at the clock and close your eye's and say to yourself...just 10 more minutes...and then it happens about 5 times?? Well I actually forget what that feels like because sleeping in isn't really an option when you have a 2 year. This morning it HAPPENED...it was 8:32 till we heard the little voice say..Momma :). We took full advantage of the sleep in this morning, its the first time in a long time we strolled down stairs and the sun was up, but pleasantly welcomed!
After enjoying a Giant cup of Joe and reading stories to the little one, I stripped our bed (which is a king and HOLY HELL its a lot of work washing a king size bed) and Ottavia's crib (thats another work out, bumper pads SUCK, but so does a crying baby in the night if she's banged her head on the side of the crib) loaded up all the towels and all the laundry and called to the Coach through the heat register in our bedroom down to his office in my sweetest voice possible, "can you help me"!!! Hauling laundry to basement also sucks! Its almost 3 pm and I'm 6 loads in, with 3 more to go!
I have a few valuable things to share!!
singlecup.ca--
If you own a keurig, then you know K-cups are expensive and I'm a coffee snob so I can't say I love the kinds costco sells. This website is based in calgary and you get your order shipped to your door within 2 days via purolator. They have great brands including starbucks and caribou coffee which happen to be my 2 favourites. Sure we spent 250$ on coffee but we are good now for a few months!
Magic eraser's Bathroom
I used to be a firm believer or norwex etc, but thats gone out the window! We have a giant walk in sit down shower and to clean that baby is the biggest pain in the ass you could ever imagine, so the magic eraser is the greatest invention ever! wet it and scrub it down! I'm all about chemical so first i spray the whole shower down with Vim, get naked and go town on the shower, its the only way!
I think thats it!! I could tell you about how much i love lululemon and you'd be shocked if you walked in my closet to see that 50% of my wardrobe is lulu, 20% scrubs, and the rest is a mish mash of everything!...that doesn't include shoes!
Now all this together gets me to one point! We have started to hunt for a new house. Not sure if we are going to build, buy new, buy old and reno but right now we are obsessed and spend alot of time shooting idea's back and forth to each other while researching lots and searching MLS
There are a few wants but mostly needs that this house will need to meet.
Needs:
double sink in the ensuite ( So one day i can rest assure that my toothbrush has not come in contact with Tino's nose hairs that he pretends are all wiped up)
Upstairs laundry (because I'm a princess)
Bonus room ( because its just a bonus!)
mudroom with walk in closet ( for once can I just have all my shoes and coats in one spot!)
pantry ( oh my word, I can't even imagine not having to stand on a stool to get my flour down from the back of the highest cabinet or while putting away pyrex dishes smash my finger between 2 of them because they are stacked so freakin tight in the tiny corner cupboard that isn't even made for dishes while all the tupperware in the front of the cupboard falls out then a 2 year thinks its a toy and next thing you know it, its an hour ordeal just to get one dish put away.
We are talking a 20 year investment. I've been in Calgary for almost 10 years and i've moved 3 times. The thought of moving again give's me anxiety and i don't even know what anxiety feels like! It's alot of work to move therefore I'm not doing it again after this.
Don't get me wrong, our house we are in now has so many memories, it was our FIRST home we bought together, got pregnant in, brought our first baby home too...learnt how to cut grass and wash windows :)
I just heard my laundry beep...that means its been a long post!
Is Magic Eraser bathroom better then regular magic eraser?
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the house search. It is a fun and stressful thing.
