This weekend turned out great, although we didn't do much, it felt like we did a lot. O and Gramma spent good quality time together. They spent a lot of time at the park and getting good use of the new rubber boots splashing in the puddles. They always came home around lunch with rosie cheeks, and O was all tuckered out ready for lunch and nap. Yesterday Tino and I had to do some house stuff so with gramma being here we took full advantage and had a few hours to head out and get some things done.
We made a trip to Micheals to get a few crafts after we got home. Ottavia had Gramma's craft stuff in her hand before Gramma could even get up the stairs this morning. They were at it for a while, gluing sparkles and arranging things just right . Here is the finished product!!
Pretty cute, they made two of them. When Tino got up she was so excited to show him she could hardly stand it!
We finished off the afternoon making funfetti cupcakes for desert! I've never made this flavour of cakemix before but there is so much talk about it on pinterest I finally did. I think the states have better more colorfull mix's but this was just fine!
We have a super busy week ahead. I need to run at least 8km twice, I'm working starting wednesday, we have a meeting with the priest to get Ottavia baptized, and I'm doing my first passion party on friday!!
