I hate to say it but we were HIGHLY dissapointed :( Its a beautful fancy building filled with a bunch of boring stuff. Maybe if we had an educator with us it would be different. Ottavia enjoyed a few things, like the rock shaving and the wheel turning but 20 mins in Tino and I both looked at eachother and both said.."this is it??
Here are a few pictures of Ottavia enjoying the very few intersting things.
This next situation was quite funny. You could hit the button and get this monster to move and ROAR super loud. Kids were crying in fear and covering thier ears while Ottavia kept hitting the button over and over. It was hilarious! She loved it, she would get real close and try and stick her head in to see if the monster would bite her. It's eye's were so real, she even pointed out "eye, brown"
It was a nice to get out of the house on this windy morning but I don't think we'll be back, we are better off going to the zoo. Maybe when she is older and has a field trip we'll go back but as for any time soon I don't see it happening.
How do you feel about the SPARKS???
I agree the science center is better for kids who can read. I have one of those kids and he loves the science center. I really enjoy it as well. But as you said it's probably better for older kids.
