Tino's mom arrived yesterday morning. I didn't tell O we were having a visitor until we got up in the morning. Daddy left first thing in the morning, and I said he was going to get gramma from the airplane. She waited by the door, looked out the window and would say gamma, house.
She played shy for about 30 seconds, until Gramma brought out prezzies. Pink jeans, a hello kitty purse and a giant hello kitty blanket! They were besties soon after. They left to the park and I got some long awaited phone calls made, etc for over an hour. It was great. People are so lucky to have family near by, so this weekend we are taking full advantage of Gramma :)
We made a trip to winner's yesterday, we usually come home with a 12 pack of flavoured "wipsti" which is flavoured chapstick but instead we found a diary with a lock and key, a pen and teeny paper book. We are pretty much over toys now...the girly phase has begun!
This morning we made a fort, O is still playing in it. I remember When saturday mornings consisted of, Coffee, Gym, Tan, maybe some shopping etc....Now it consists of LOTS of coffee, fort making, Dora watching, sticker sticking, colouring, puzzles, snuggling and playing hide and seek! I wouldn't change it for the WORLD.
