I have come to terms with the fact that VERY soon it will not just be TIno and I anymore, nor just Deena time either so I have tried to take full advantage of this time to myself. Tino is super busy right now so when I get enough energy to do something..I do it. Nothing strenous, by doing something I mean going for dinner with my friends, or stopping at the mall on my way home from work or just laying on the couch and reading a book.
Our thanks giving plans have been cancelled due to baby, Tino and I were going to have one last weekend away at a friends wedding and just relax in a nice hotel and get pampared but that all went down the tubes so instead we need to make the best of our time together. I'm looking forward to him having a whole weekend off to have time with ME :) Soccer season is in full swing and is not as bad as it usually is, maybe because I've toned it down a notch and do a lot of resting, and I just try not to get my panties in a knot over small things. No stress, means healthy Deena...which is healthy Baby!
My parents are coming this weekend, I can't hardly wait to see them. Mom and I get to spend some quality time together before teh baby comes and do some shopping etc, while i can put my dad to work. Maybe now that we can't go anywhere for the long weekend, I'm hoping they stick around for a longer then expected visit! I wish they lived closer.
So even though I walk slow, let things roll of my shoulder's, have just a layed back attitude, I still get a boost of premium gasoline and fullfill my Deena Needs!!
P.S...i bought a few new maternity shirts, I broke down because i have no color left in my wardrobe, and the black yoga pants, and black T-shirt was getting very old, now i feel cute all over again! I seriously can't wait to wear all my old clothes again!

Nesting...
This weekend has been busy, we got word that baby could be coming sooner then we thought so we got our buts in gear and really started getting ready.
We had some reno's done in our master bathroom so Tino put things back together, it felt so good to have a shower and just get things cleaned up and settled. We had some painting done too, we touched up baseboards...fixed up some dents in the walls etc.
We also got the grandma's suite ready in the basement, our house is quite small so we make due with the space we have. Grandma will be very comfy down there. Tino moved furniture, vaccumed basebaords and matress's and got everything set up in the basement.
The nursery... :) Everything is painted, furniture is put together, just waiting for poppie to come and put up the chair rail, hang some curtains and do some finishing touches. Then mom and I can go get most of the needs for babe. We still need a crib matress and a glider but we have a couple weeks. My crib bedding is being sewed by Tino's mom, I can't wait to see it, I choose this really beauitful material.
I have tons of clothes for the first 3 months, so I can start washing, along with recieving blankets and get things into drawers...so exciting.
I still need some things for the hospital, Pj's, and other's that they say to bring. My sister is having a shower for me on Oct. 24th so I really hope baby fusco doesn't come before then!
Here are a some picture's of yesterday's work!..I think Daddy has a sore back today..i was just the foreman :)
Enjoy

Cabbage Rolls!!
This post makes me laugh to myself, infact, the picture's make me laugh, i will look back at this in one year and have a chuckle! Today I made cabbage rolls, Exactly one year to the day, I made a huge batch. It always seems to fall around this time of year because the HUGE flathead cabbage is in at the Co-op. I used about 5 of them, thats because i prefer the outside soft leaves.
Anyways my feet and back are sore from standing, thank god for Tino to do all the lifting!
Here are a few picture's. I remind myself of Rachel ray or, as If i'm doing a cooking show!
Let me tell you, this is a big job, it looks fun, but I was happy to be done, they smell delicious in my oven!
We will have lots to eat when the baby come's, although, I'm not sure how much the baby will enjoy the cabbage, maybe I'll save them for a night when Daddy is on duty :)
Enjoy!

Are you all ready??
That is the most common question people ask us...so are you all ready?? Is the baby's room all done?
This is how ready we are :)
As organized and detailed I am, I'm SOOO not ready, so if this little bambina come's early, we are in trouble! Although we have a few diapers, a few sleepers and a lot of love, so i'm sure she'll be just fine.
We just got word the furniture should arrive this week, the painter is hired, and mom and dad are coming at the end of the month so by early oct, I will be ready....
but as you can see...i kind of already look ready!
This is 5 days shy of 8 months! I don't have a coat that fits me but thanks to this turquois Lululemon sweater, wrap thing, it keeps me warm. Its all about comfort now!
I hope everyone has a great holiday tomorrow!

Supplies!
Today I bought diapers.....teeny tiny little diapers. I'm not sure what brand my chicken is going to like but we bought huggies and pampers. They are the size of a kleenex...So adorable.
I also bought wipes, I'm so nieve, i have no idea what I need i just figure when I see it, i'll buy it.
We also bought our baby monitor, my sister in law reccomended the Graco imonitor. Its cordless, has two portable's that can go 2000 feet and they are all wireless. Perfect.
I also bought some bottles. This was a big one. I did alot of research on this not knowing whats the best, glass vs plastic, wide mouth, what flow rate, BPA free, what size, tipped neck or straight, drop in's or or air vent...CRAZY. I went with the playtex wide neck, but who knows if she'll even like them. They are compatible with the breast pump too so I thought i'll give them a try.
There are so many things I need but I feel overwhelmed. I went to babies r us today to register but i left with only a few things on the scanner. I needed my mom to help guide me through the notions, I also find babies r us really pricey...like HUGE difference compared to other places.
I'm starting to buy lots of clothes but when i looked in her closet today I don't think they are small enough so i need some newborn things, 5-8 pound outfits. Have you see them??? so small...and so cute. As for socks and hand cover's i also got a few of those.
I'm not even close to being ready. Mom and dad are coming the end of sept to get all set up. I figure if i'm totally ready by oct. 1st then i'm good to go. Washing everything and putting everything away is the fun part. Packing my hospital bag and her bag, choosing her take home outfit is also fun.....
I'm soo excited :)

Autum
September 1st!! Can you believe it? I just love fall. Its is my very all time favorite season. I love the brisk fresh bite you get when you first walk outside in the morning. I love the crunch of the leave's under and nice new pair of boots and jeans, and I love that its time to turn on the fireplace.
Last year we had a beautiful indian summer, I'm sure we are still in for a few nice days but as far as I'm concerned, fall is very near, and what a great time to start nesting. I love to cook so out come's the crockpots and casserolle dishes. Halloween was my sister and I's favorite holiday. Now is the time to start lighting candles and stay warm!
I originally wanted a fall baby, but it just would of not worked with my husbands busy season, so instead we decieded on November and I am so happy we did. When she is brand new we can just stay in, get aquinted and get to know eachother. I think if it was summer or spring i'd be obligated to get outside and feel guilty for napping on a hot summer day.
The flat head cabbage will be out soon, and I will make my annual cabbage rolls, they are so good.
Now here are the downfalls......I don't have a coat i can do up, I tried to suck in a squeeze into one of my lululemond coats but I can't get the zipper up. I put on a pair of flannel PJ's the other night and the shirt was as short as a bikini top :) I will have to buy a nice pair from the maternity store for the hospital. I will also miss fall shopping, all the really nice clothes are out, but I can look forward to that in the winter!
Cheers to fall, with a warm toasty drink!!!
